Après une grande journée de route, premier arrêt aux Baux de Provence, un des « plus beaux villages de France » et surtout lieu qui abrite les « carrières de lumière », juste au pied du village.

Dans une véritable cathédrale souterraine taillée dans la roche des Alpilles, des son et lumière incroyables se répercutent du sol au plafond.Nous avions découvert cet endroit en 2013, l’expo était sur «  Klimt  et la Vienne de son époque » : on était subjugués. Cette année, un nouveau spectacle sur « Chagall, songes d’une nuit d’été » Toujours aussi extraordinaire ! Du palais Garnier aux juifs de Kiev, de Mozart à Stravinski en passant par Bizet, quelle meilleure introduction à notre voyage vers l’Europe orientale? After a long road from Limoges, first stop at Les Baux de Provence. The place is labellized one of the « plus beaux villages de France » and deserved that title. We could not have found  a better introduction to our trip to eastern Europe.

Then we decided to follow the coast roads along the Riviera, which should be magnificent at this time of the year. Ok, it is beautiful, but fences and houses everywhere, cars everywhere, no place to park at night a moho in Ramatuelle or Saint Tropez…

Today, Saint Paul de Vence and the Maegh Foundation : Most of it was closed, beween two exhibitions ! Bad luck again ! So this afternoon, rest in a small campground 15 km above Nice.
